Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. I can always feel the season coming on and can’t wait to pull out my fall decor and start melting my fall scents in my warmers. The crisp air, pumpkins, mums, football season, soups and many of the things of fall just begin to usher in the excitement of this season and as each holiday arrives we get so much closer to my favorite holiday of Christmas.
Each year, I try to collect a few new pieces to add to my growing collection of seasonal decor as well as trying to hit end of season sales to gather pieces I loved but didn’t purchase at a great price. I have come to love Kirkland’s over the last few years, especially the last couple, with their great farmhouse and modern home decor. You know you love a store and it’s one of your go to’s when you don’t see anything you wouldn’t put in your home in the store. This year, I purchased more than I normally do because I knew that I didn’t have enough to really fill a lot of our spaces.
I am definitely drawn to the the more neutral palate of fall colors. The light greens, whites and neutrals are perfect to match with any other decor scheme.
Our office, I bought this wreath at Kirkland’s last fall with the intention of putting it in my living room or on my door but it was too big for either of those spaces and this seemed to be the perfect place. It grabs attention of our visitor’s when they first walk through the door.
I found this centerpiece on our dining room table from Kirkland’s this year and it was the perfect piece to add to this basket tray I already had. The glass lanterns came from Target’s dollar spot.
I added these mini wreaths from Kirkland’s to my cathedral windows from Southern with Grace. They were just the perfect size and not to overly expensive!
